Nap-Time Creative

I started my appreciation for art at a young age. My mom always had craft supplies spread around the house. She was always teaching me how to scrapbook or make my own birthday invitations and greeting cards for holidays. That was only the beginning before I started art classes in middle and high school where I found my true passion for art. 

After having my first child (Wyatt, 6) I longed for finding a passion or hobby again, so I spent my time painting or drawing. It wasn't until I was pregnant with my daughter (Maisie, now 3) that I started falling in love with wedding invitations, and later, found an even bigger longing for painting at weddings. 

  • I have 6 chickens, 7 ducks, one rabbit, a golden retriever, and two cats!

I (Abigail) am a mom to two spunky children, Wyatt (7) and Maisie (3), and a wife to loving husband, Austin.

I enjoy spending time with family, painting, traveling, and farming.

In my free time, you can find me outside looking for art inspiration with my two littles closely behind.

Paperie Maze is named after my daughter, “Maze” is a nod to her name. Plus “Maze” is just how life is, navigating motherhood and small business ownership.

Although I have always been an artist, motherhood gave me a whole new meaning to art, and the joy it brings. This gave the whole image for my business.
